How many times have moderators had to trust conflicting accounts or improvised recordings to make a decision? How many times have they had to settle for a voice report with no usable evidence? Voicey was born from this observation: voice moderation deserves better than makeshift solutions.

A Discord bot born from a real use case

Voicey was created by a developer who has himself moderated Discord servers and faced the difficulty of handling voice incidents with no usable evidence.

Integrate into the server ecosystem

The main elements stay within the server ecosystem: dashboard, rules, history, and access reserved for authorized people.

Recordings directly in Discord

Not everyone has the technical ability to capture a voice channel from their PC. Voicey brings that capability at the server level, without requiring a local setup from moderators.

    Current stage

    Voicey is already in its first stage: usable recordings, dashboard access, archiving, safeguards, and concrete tools for handling a voice incident.

    Beta testing and stability

    The next phase is to open up testing further to consolidate the bot's stability before a wider rollout.

    Ongoing development

    Future ideas already include full logs of temporary voice channels, written transcription of recordings, and bot internationalization. Voicey remains in active development and welcomes feedback from those who want to help.
